Pricing, booking fees and cancellations
Odenta and Emergency Dentist 4u are free to start. You can submit a request, join the free NHS waiting-list pathway, and explore available dental pathways without paying upfront.
How payment works
1. You can submit a dental request at no cost.
2. If the pathway is free, such as the NHS waiting list, there is nothing to pay.
3. On some urgent or private pathways, a booking fee may be requested only when you decide to secure a real appointment slot.
4. The booking fee is redeemable against treatment at the dental practice, but it is not the full treatment cost.
5. Treatment fees are set by the dental practice and should be confirmed with the practice before treatment begins.
Refunds, cancellations and non-attendance
Important: where a booking fee applies, it is used to secure the appointment slot and is non-refundable once paid.
If you are unable to attend, you should contact the dental practice as early as possible and ideally give at least 24 hours' notice.
The practice may, at its own discretion, offer to reschedule your appointment, but this is not guaranteed.
If you cancel late, fail to attend, arrive late, or arrive too late for the practice to safely see you, the booking fee may be lost.
The dental practice may refuse treatment if you do not attend on time or if there is not enough time remaining to provide safe care.
Any diagnosis, treatment, treatment fee, clinical outcome, complaint, refund request relating to treatment, or other clinical dispute is between you and the dental practice. Odenta and Emergency Dentist 4u help arrange access but do not provide clinical treatment.
